Tomatoes and you other Summer veggies should be romping away by now, fruit will be developing, and this is the point you start to feed twice a week with Tomorite (link). Consistent watering is important and evening is best, but don’t flood the pots or growbags – little and often is much better. Evening watering works best as the roots will have several hours to soak up the water before the morning sun dries them out again. If tomatoes are left too dry for too long, or too wet for too long this is when they develop discolouration and you don’t get that beautiful all round red look when ripe.
